Why the first 48 hours matter

The damage you can't see is the damage that costs you.

After the storm

What to do after a storm hits.

A hailstorm or hard gust can bruise, crease, or tear a roof in ways you'll never spot from the driveway. Small damage quietly becomes an interior leak a few rainstorms later. Here's the order that protects the home and the claim.

01

Stay safe. Skip the roof.

Don't climb up. Wait for a licensed crew. From the ground, note missing shingles, dented gutters, fallen limbs, and any water stains on ceilings.

02

Call for a free inspection.

On the roof, often the same day. Dated photos, measurements, and a clear report you can hand straight to your insurer.

03

File the claim yourself.

You stay in control of your policy. Hand them the documentation; they decide when to call it in. We'll tell you exactly what your adjuster will need to see.

04

We meet your adjuster.

On the roof, beside the field adjuster, so they see the same damage we did. No back-and-forth, no missed line items.

The claim process

How we work with your insurance.

Storm damage is one of the most common reasons a homeowner's policy will help pay for a roof. The claim process can be confusing. We help navigate it from the first inspection to the final install.

01

Free inspection

On the roof, often the same day. Find the storm damage you can't see from the ground.

02

Document it

Dated photos, measurements, and a clear written report of what we found and why it matters to the claim.

03

Meet the adjuster

There in person so the field adjuster sees the same damage we did. No back-and-forth.

04

Repair & restore

Once approved, our own crew installs the new roof, usually in a single day.

What we can, and can't, promise

From the first inspection to the final nail: we document the damage, meet the adjuster on the roof, and keep the paperwork moving. What we won't do is overpromise to win business.

We assist with the claim process; we don't guarantee approval and can't waive deductibles or insurance obligations.

After the last storm

The kind of call we like getting.

“After a storm hit my building's roof, I called Andrew and his team. He got it done in no time, punctual and professional. I'd definitely recommend LCR.”

Storm-claim answers

The questions we hear most.

Does homeowner's insurance cover storm roof damage?

Often, yes. Sudden storm, wind, and hail damage is one of the most common reasons a policy helps pay for a roof. Normal wear and old age usually aren't covered. The only way to know is a proper inspection, and ours is free.

Do I still pay my deductible?

Yes. Your deductible is set by your policy, and we can't waive it or pay it for you. Anyone who offers to is putting you at risk. We give a clear, upfront price so you know what's yours before any work begins.

How long does the storm-claim process take?

It depends on the insurer, but the rhythm is steady: inspect within a day or two, document the damage, meet the adjuster on the roof. Once approved, most residential roofs install in a single day.

Do you handle the insurance claim for me?

We help navigate it. We inspect and document, and meet the field adjuster on the roof so they see what we see. We don't file the claim, guarantee approval, or waive deductibles. The policy stays yours; the damage stays seen.
