Find the leak. Fix the cause, not the symptom.
Most "roof leaks" aren't where the water shows up inside. Water travels along rafters and underlayment before it drips. We trace it to the source, then repair that, so you're not calling again after the next storm.
Leaks, flashing & chimneys
Failed flashing around chimneys, skylights, vents and walls causes most leaks we see. We reseal or replace the flashing and the shingles around it, not just a bead of caulk.

Storm, wind & hail damage
Lifted or missing shingles, hail bruising, tree limbs. Emergency tarp first if you need it, then a documented repair your insurer can read.

Aging-roof repairs
Curling shingles, nail pops, cracked pipe boots, soft decking, clogged valleys. The small fixes that buy an older roof a few more good years.
Get a repair quote →Seeing a stain on the ceiling, granules in the gutters, or daylight in the attic? Those are the three signs we get called about most. All three are usually repairable if you call early.
Repair it, or replace it?
We'll tell you which one your roof actually needs. Plenty of our repair customers were quoted a full replacement by someone else. Plenty of our replacement customers came to us asking for a patch. The inspection decides, not the sales pitch.
Repair usually makes sense when
- ·The damage is in one area: a leak, a few missing shingles, one bad flashing
- ·The shingles still have granules and lie flat across the rest of the roof
- ·The decking underneath is dry and solid
- ·The roof is under roughly 15 years old
Replacement is the better buy when
- ·Leaks keep showing up in new places
- ·Shingles are curling, cupping or bald across whole slopes
- ·Storm damage covers a large area and insurance is involved
- ·The repair bill is creeping toward a third of a new roof
If it's a replacement, see roof replacement, most done in a single day, with 0% financing and new roofs from $79/mo.
Three steps. No runaround.
Free inspection
We get on the roof, trace the leak to its source, and photograph everything. Often the same day you call.
Written repair quote
An itemized price for exactly what's wrong. If it's really a replacement, we say so. The number we quote is the number you pay.
Fixed and documented
Most repairs are done within the week. You get before-and-after photos, which is exactly what an insurance adjuster wants to see.

Roof repair questions, answered.
How much does a roof repair cost?
It depends on what's actually wrong, which is why we won't guess over the phone. A resealed pipe boot and a rebuilt chimney flashing are very different jobs. You get an itemized, written price after the free inspection, and most repairs cost a fraction of a replacement.
Can you repair just the damaged section?
Usually, yes. We match the shingle style and color as closely as the manufacturer allows, replace any wet decking underneath, and tie the new section into the old one so it sheds water correctly. If the surrounding shingles are too brittle to work with, we'll tell you before we start.
Will my insurance cover a storm repair?
Sudden storm, wind and hail damage is often covered; wear and age usually isn't. We document the damage with dated photos and meet your adjuster on the roof so nothing gets missed. The claim decision stays between you and your insurer. See storm & insurance help.
How fast can you get here?
Inspections are often the same day you call, from either our Falls Church or Fairfax office. Active leaks and storm damage jump the line. If water is coming in right now, call 703-595-7031 and we'll get a tarp on it.
